Moishe Mendel declares war on Iran.
\nPresident Ahmadinejad of Iran was wondering who to invade when his telephone rang:
\n“This is Moishe Mendel in Tel Aviv. We’re officially declaring war on you!”
\n“How big is your army?” the president asked.
\n“There’s me, my cousin Moishe, and our pinochle team!”
\n“I have a million in my army,” said the president.
\n“I’ll call back!” said Mendel.
\nThe next day, he called:
\n“The war’s still on!” We have now a bulldozer, and Goldblatt’s tractor.”
\n“I have 16,000 tanks, and my army is now two million.”
\n“Oy gevalt!”, said Mendel. “I’ll call back.”
\nHe phoned the next day:
\n“We’re calling off the war.”
\n“Why?”, asked the president.
